Ford Money’s saver, HL’s results, Breezeplus problems and OneSavings predictions in Investments
- Ford Money is to launch a Regular Saver account and a Regular Saver Cash ISA account on 22 May 2017, both paying 4% over 12 months. Account holders can deposit between £25 and £250 each month. The products will be available for a limited period for both new and existing customers
- Hargreaves Lansdown chairman, Mike Evans, has announced he is stepping down. The investment platform provider also reported that it attracted a net £3.3bn in the four months to the end of April 2017, with assets under management increasing by 10% to £77bn
- Breezeplus, which provides Nationwide’s free legals service, has said it is addressing problems that have led to delays of weeks or months on remortgage processing times
- OneSavings Bank sales director, Adrian Moloney, has said that technological advances in the mortgage market, particularly the growth in digital advice, will have a considerable impact in the execution-only, vanilla, prime, residential remortgage market. Mr Moloney was speaking as part of an industry panel at the FSE Manchester Expo event.
